Football Game Recap: Hillcrest vs. Middle College

Hillcrest won against Washington three weeks ago with 40 points, and Hillcrest decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Hillcrest took their matchup against Middle College by a conclusive 40-6 score. That's another feather in the cap for Hillcrest, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Hillcrest's success was spearheaded by the efforts of junior Calil Doby, who passed for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns, and senior Nicholas Mathis, who rushed for 94 yards and 1 touchdown.

Hillcrest will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Oakhaven in two weeks at 7:00 PM. As for Middle College, they will face off against Washington. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
