Softball Recap: Immanuel Gets the Win

Immanuel is still undefeated this season after their contest against Tulare Union on Thursday, but Tulare Union came as close as anyone has to beating them. Immanuel came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against Tulare Union. Seven seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Addison Efird, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Maritzah Cibrian also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Immanuel's win bumped their record up to 7-0-1. As for Tulare Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Immanuel wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-4 tie against Dos Palos on the 22nd. As for Tulare Union, they have also already played their next match, an 18-1 victory against Roosevelt on the 22nd.
