Football Game Preview: Okanogan Bulldogs vs. Brewster Bears + How To Watch

Okanogan is a perfect 6-0 against Brewster since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Okanogan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Okanogan's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They breezed past Tonasket to the tune of 62-0. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Tatum Gunn, who rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 104.3 rushing yards per game. Colson Kuchenbuch was another key player, throwing for 167 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Okanogan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 400 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Brewster came up short against Cascade on Friday and fell 14-7. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Okanogan's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Brewster, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Okanogan against Brewster when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
