It was a good run, but Ben Lippen unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 36-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Augusta Christian Lions. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Augusta Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tierra Vandiver led the charge by putting up nine points. Avery Schwarz was another key player, posting eight points.

Ben Lippen's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Augusta Christian, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10.

Ben Lippen will face off against Northside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northside Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Ben Lippen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Augusta Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-33 win against Fox Creek on the 11th.
