Soccer Recap: Foster Drops Season-High Score on Liberty

Foster scored the most goals they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 6-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Patriots. That's two games in a row now that Foster have lost by exactly two goals.

They hit Liberty with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Giovanny Cruz Basurto (2), Alan Zarate, and Francisco Alvarez Zuniga.

This is the second loss in a row for Foster and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Liberty, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Foster will venture away from home to square off against Interlake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, an 8-2 victory against Sammamish on the 7th.
