Volleyball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Prestonwood Christian Lions.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14.

Mia Brandl paced Glenn's offense, picking up six kills. Brandl were helped by Briley Camp and Grace Phelan, who contributed five assists each. Finally, Blair Foster kept Glenn's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Prestonwood Christian, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Glenn has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lake Creek on the 28th. As for Prestonwood Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Westlake on the 28th.
