Basketball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn lost against Rouse back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Glenn Grizzlies took a hard 69-55 fall against the Rouse Raiders. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amari Moore was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 17 on his way to 21 points and four steals for Rouse. The dominant performance also gave Moore a new career-high in assists (four). Malik Etiobhio was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Rouse, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-8.

Glenn will venture away from home to face off against Lockhart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Lockhart: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Glenn has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. As for Rouse, they will host Liberty Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Hill will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Rouse surely won't give up without a fight.
