Volleyball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bear Lake Bears.

Highland's offense was headlined by Kennedi Winder and Mylee Stucki, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Jaycie Homer and her 11 assists. Britt Reno controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Bear Lake, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Boise on the 20th. As for Bear Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Hillcrest on the 20th.
