Freeland extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Tristan Comer. The Freeland Falcons breezed by the Petoskey Northmen to the tune of 75-34 on Saturday thanks in part to Comer, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.
Wilson Huckeby was another key player, putting up 15 points and eight boards. His afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
Freeland's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Petoskey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
