Central faced Moody in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Red Devils took their matchup with ease, bagging a 27-0 victory over the Blue Devils. The Red Devils' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last seven contests.

Mariah Harrison threw for 151 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 passes. Colby Cook was her top target, picking up 128 receiving yards and three TDs.

Central's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Moody, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Park Crossing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Moody will square off against rival John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Blue Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season.
