Volleyball Recap: Iroquois Falls to Erie First Christian Academy in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Iroquois kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to Erie First Christian Academy. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Iroquois started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Iroquois saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paisley Cook had 14 digs and one assist.

Iroquois has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Seneca on the 27th. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Mercyhurst Prep on the 28th.
