Soccer Recap: Oak Hills Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oak Hills can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bonita Bearcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The loss put an end to the Bulldogs' undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of D'Angelo Martinez, who's now up to 16 this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oak Hills fell to 23-1. As for Bonita, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Oak Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bonita, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Sultana at 5:00 p.m. Bonita's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
