Volleyball Recap: Niskayuna Takes a Loss

If Niskayuna was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Averill Park last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Silver Warriors came up short against the Bethlehem Central Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 6th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-21.

Niskayuna's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Bethlehem Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-1-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Niskayuna is set to challenge their familiar foe Colonie Central at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bethlehem Central will square off against rival Shaker at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
