Trillium Academy and Summit Academy are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. Trillium Academy will venture away from home to square off against Summit Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trillium Academy lost 14-7 to Jefferson on Friday. Trillium Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Summit Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Southfield Christian on Tuesday, falling 20-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Trillium Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Summit Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Trillium Academy's way against Summit Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Trillium Academy made off with a 19-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trillium Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
