Softball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Comes Up Short

El Paso-Gridley fell victim to Delavan and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

El Paso-Gridley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KayTe Herr, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Herr's first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for El Paso-Gridley and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Delavan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Paso-Gridley will host Manual at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Delavan, they will be playing at home against Tremont at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
