Baseball Game Preview: Piqua Indians vs. Greenville Green Wave

For the second straight game, Piqua will face off against Greenville. The Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Green Wave at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Piqua is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Greenville on Wednesday. They fell 6-2 to the Green Wave. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Green Wave since on Wednesday.

For Greenville's part, their win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Kerg, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Charlie Jasenski, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Piqua's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for Greenville, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.
