Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Archangels Catholic's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Archangels Catholic won the last time they faced Central Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Archangels Catholic Defenders enjoyed a cozy 47-33 victory over the Central Valley Cougars.

Despite the loss, Central Valley still got an impressive performance from Zaden Wolf, who went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Wolf a new career-high in steals. Taesian Soto was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Archangels Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Central Valley, they dropped their record down to 12-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Archangels Catholic will host Aquinas on Tuesday. As for Central Valley, they will square off against Sandhills/Thedford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.
