Meanwhile, Temecula Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Murrieta Valley, falling 13-2.

Temecula Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Crouse, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Temecula Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Vista Murrieta, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
