Baseball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

Hermitage entered their matchup against Wheatland on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hornets lost 12-1 to the Mules. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Wheatland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-2.

Looking ahead, Wheatland will square off against Billings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hermitage will be paying especially close attention to the Mules' game: after the Mules face off against Appleton City, they'll take on Hermitage again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
