Volleyball Recap: Douglas Comes Up Short

Douglas lost against Burncoat two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-14.

Defeat or not, Douglas got some senior leadership from Zoe Greenough and Emily Pacheco. Greenough had three digs and three aces, while Pacheco had two aces and one block.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Burncoat, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Douglas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Tri-County RVT on the 29th. Burncoat has also already played their next contest (against Montachusett RVT), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
