Bayside kept a clean sheet against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Patriots 1-0. Bayside's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Raul Vernon, which was the first he's scored this season.

Bayside's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-3. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bayside will be home for the holidays to greet Rockledge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rockledge's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
