Sharpsville is a perfect 10-0 against Reynolds since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home field against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sharpsville is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Wilmington on Monday. They lost 10-2 to the Greyhounds.

Meanwhile, Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley, falling 12-0.

Reynolds saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Irvine, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Sharpsville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Reynolds, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Sharpsville took their win against Reynolds when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 14-2 score. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
