Football Recap: Lincoln Charter Starts Season with Victory Against Highland Tech + How To Watch

Lincoln Charter had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Highland Tech Rams to the tune of 50-6 on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-6.

Despite the loss, Highland Tech still got an impressive performance from Irvin Thompson, who picked up 118 receiving yards and one TD.

Looking ahead, Lincoln Charter will venture away from home to challenge West Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland Tech, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shelby at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
