Basketball Recap: Grapevine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Denton last Tuesday, Grapevine came back down to earth. The Grapevine Mustangs took a blow against the Ryan Raiders on Friday, falling 60-29. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Grapevine's loss dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Ryan, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grapevine will welcome Birdville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ryan, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Colleyville Heritage at 5:45 p.m. One thing working in Ryan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
