Volleyball Recap: Halle Rice and Chloe Thielen Secure Win for Northwest

Northwest won the last time they faced Schuyler and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Northwest was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10.

Northwest was led to victory by Chloe Thielen and Halle Rice. Thielen had eight digs and two aces, while Rice had five digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Rice a new career-high.

Northwest's record is now 20-8. As for Schuyler, they dropped their record down to 5-20 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Northwest and Schuyler will both be playing Aurora the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
