 Lake Central extended their postseason success on Monday against Hobart. They never let the Hobart Brickies onto the board and left with  a   4-0  win. The  victory was nothing new for Lake Central as they're now sitting on five straight.
 The result came thanks to  Blake Sivak's shutout, as he gave up just one  hit and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Drew Kosteba, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Nick Robinson was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Lake Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record  this season. As for Hobart, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-11.
 As of now, neither Lake Central nor Hobart have any future games scheduled.
