Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-5 to the East Rochester Bombers. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Black Knights' highest-scoring match to date.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East Rochester, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Marion and East Rochester will both be playing Lyons the next time they take the field. The Black Knights will host the Lions at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bombers will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
