Basketball Recap: Columbia Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia). They walked away with a 50-40 win over the Colfax Bulldogs on Saturday. For the Coyotes, this counts as revenge for the 45-39 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2019.

Columbia pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Colfax, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will be home for the holidays to greet Tri-Cities Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Colfax, they will host Lakeside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
