Softball Recap: Brandywine Heights Area Bullets vs. Wilson Bulldogs

Brandywine Heights Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 17-5 loss at the hands of the Wilson Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Brandywine Heights Area of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

For Wilson's part, Meghan Farrell was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Farrell was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Tatum Werley was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. Olivia Keller was another key contributor, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and a triple.

As for Wilson, they will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Fleetwood at 4:00 p.m. Wilson knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with flashy run totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Fleetwood likes a good challenge.
