Baseball Recap: Beech Victorious

While Beech's win against Wilson Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Buccaneers beat the Wildcats on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Beech got a great performance from Reese Hall as he struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Hall has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, Beech's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caden Steck, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Grayson Kennedy was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.

Beech's victory bumped their record up to 21-14. As for Wilson Central, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.

As of now, neither Beech nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
