Baseball Recap: Fairview Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Fairview waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Ayersville Pilots. That's more bragging rights for the Apaches, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Anthony Singer was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
