Volleyball Recap: Dansville Mustangs vs. Geneseo Blue Devils
Dansville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Geneseo Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on October 2nd.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.
Geneseo was led to victory by Ganelli Rodriguez and Acadia Winslow. Rodriguez had nine aces and three digs, while Winslow had 16 assists. Winslow has been hot , having posted 14 or more assists the last seven times she's played.
Dansville's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Geneseo, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.
After both having extra time off, Dansville and Aquinas Institute will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday. Geneseo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
