Soccer Game Preview: DSST: Montview vs. DSST: Conservatory Green

The DSST: Montview Knights will head out on the road to take on the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

DSST: Montview is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Eagle Ridge Academy on Monday. The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. That makes it the first time this season DSST: Montview have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, DSST: Conservatory Green kept a clean sheet against Fort Lupton on Monday. They blew past the Bluedevils 3-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but DSST: Conservatory Green were the better team in the second half.

Litzahaya Arcanjo-Rodriguez and Dianna Lua scored all three of DSST: Conservatory Green's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

The win made it two in a row for DSST: Conservatory Green and bumps their season record up to 6-4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for DSST: Montview, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-2.

DSST: Montview took their win against DSST: Conservatory Green in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
