Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lone Star). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Turner Lions a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won seven in a row.

Chase Lanham was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of James Dagenhart, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one triple.

Lone Star always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lone Star's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Turner, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lone Star will have a chance to go back-to-back against Turner: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
