Austintown-Fitch put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Lake Blue Streaks. Fans of the Falcons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The team relied heavily on Kylie Folkwein, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Severn, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Austintown-Fitch always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .576 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Austintown-Fitch pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Austintown-Fitch and Lake will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Austintown-Fitch is set to take on their familiar foe Howland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lake will face off against rival GlenOak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
