Recap: Louise Hornets vs. Needville Bluejays
The Louise Hornets's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They skirted past Needville 39-37. This was payback for Louise, who suffered a 39-26 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Louise to victory were Hannah Ochoa and Monica Montes. Ochoa scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Montes scored nine points. Ochoa is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kirsten Ochoa, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds.
Louise's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Needville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Yorktown the next time they take the court. Louise will host Yorktown at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Needville will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
