Baseball Recap: Conifer Lobos vs. Columbine Rebels
Conifer couldn't beat Columbine on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Lobos came up short against the Rebels, falling 22-10. The Lobos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
Conifer saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Roe, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another was Andrew Janasiewicz, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
The loss was their first at home, dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Columbine, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Conifer will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Columbine, they are taking a road trip to challenge Desert Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
