Lafayette Christian came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks 44-0. Give the Cougars' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Lafayette Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Connor Hudson and Cody Batistini. Lafayette Christian received some extra help from Jonathan May, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Lafayette Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.
