Volleyball Recap: Unity Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Holland

Unity Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Holland Dutch on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Holland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christian Ramirez, who had five digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Cisneros, who had nine digs and two aces.

Holland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6.

Unity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holland, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Saugatuck on the 31st.
