Addison Trail entered their contest against Zion-Benton on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Blazers fell just short of the Zee-Bees by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Addison Trail couldn't quite close it out.

Addison Trail now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Zion-Benton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3-1.

Coming up, Addison Trail will take on Neuqua Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Zion-Benton, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Waukegan at 6:45 p.m.
