It was a good run, but Howards Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Sheboygan Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Howards Grove's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Sheboygan Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Howards Grove and Sheboygan Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Tigers will square off against Sheboygan Area Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (75 vs. 334). Meanwhile, Sheboygan Christian (ranked 19th) will meet Ozaukee (ranked 268th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
