Softball Recap: Cardinal Newman Comes Up Short

Cardinal Newman lost against Palm Beach Gardens back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinal Newman Crusaders lost 10-1 to the Palm Beach Gardens Gators. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cardinal Newman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annabelle Walsh, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Cardinal Newman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Cardinal Newman will face off against John Carroll Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they will head out on the road to challenge Palm Beach Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Beach Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Palm Beach Gardens surely won't give up without a fight.
