Soccer Recap: Massac County Comes Up Short

Massac County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Pinckneyville Panthers. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Massac County struggled afterwards.

Massac County's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Pinckneyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Massac County will square off against Vienna at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pinckneyville, they will welcome Mt. Vernon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
