Softball Recap: Dudley Comes Up Short

Dudley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 21-4 to the High Point Central Bison. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 on March 4th.

Trinedee Henderson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 1-for-2. Tiana Caldwell also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Dudley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for High Point Central, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4.

Dudley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 loss against Atkins on the 1st. As for High Point Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Eastern Guilford on the 1st.
