Volleyball Recap: Lakota Snags 13th Victory in Last 14 Games + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Lakota, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Riverdale Falcons on Thursday.

While Lakota won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 26-24.

Queen Beard paced Lakota's offense, picking up 26 kills. Beard got some help from Sophia Bomer and her 30 assists. Emma Jurovcik controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lakota has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Riverdale, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Coming up, Lakota will head out to take on Gibsonburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
