Red Boiling Springs kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Grundy County Yellowjackets, falling 44-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Vince Bryant was a one-man wrecking crew For Grundy County. as he rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown. Bryant was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.

Looking ahead, Red Boiling Springs will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Lookout Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grundy County, they will challenge Innovation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
