Football Game Recap: Jenkins vs. Southeast Bulloch

Southeast Bulloch fell to Jenkins 21-31 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Southeast Bulloch won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Jenkins 9-8. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Southeast Bulloch got off to a sluggish start, posting three total points in the first half. As for Jenkins, they scored eight to put Southeast Bulloch at a 3-8 disadvantage heading into the break. In the second half, however, Southeast Bulloch's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 0 points. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0. The defeat dropped Jenkins' record to 4-2.

On Tuesday Southeast Bulloch take on Savannah at 7:30 PM. Savannah are limping into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Jenkins, they will face off against Johnson. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
