Baseball Recap: Summit's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Summit came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Governor Livingston Highlanders, falling 7-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Hilltoppers were not able to get on the board.

Summit saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Schnall, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

With the defeat, Summit broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-8. As for Governor Livingston, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 13-0.
