Softball Recap: Bradford Has No Trouble Against Coldwater

Bradford barely beat Coldwater the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Bradford blew past Coldwater 17-9 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Railroaders in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won five in a row.

Vivian Harlemen was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Harlemen was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Caitlynn Shroyer was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Addy Mills was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.

Bradford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Bradford now has a winning record of 2-1-1.
