Baseball Recap: Chico Comes Up Short

Chico managed to slip by Nocona the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Dragons lost 12-0 to the Indians on Friday. The Dragons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Chico's loss dropped their record down to 1-14-2. As for Nocona, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chico is set to challenge their familiar foe Lindsay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nocona will take on rival Muenster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
